During the holiday season, the travel agency Coral Travel Poland offers holidays at this popular resort. The summer connection was originally scheduled to end on October 20, but the tour operator has decided to keep the flights in the schedule for the winter season as well. From Łódź Airport, you will be able to fly directly to Marsa Alam every Tuesday, with flights available in the booking system until March 30. This is a great opportunity to spend Christmas, New Year’s Eve or the winter holidays under the palm trees.
“Residents of Łódź and the surrounding region had been waiting for a winter connection to Egypt. We are delighted that, together with our partner, the Coral Travel Poland travel agency, we have managed to arrange everything necessary to extend the summer charter flights into the winter season, all the way until spring. During the summer, flights from Łódź to Egypt — to Hurghada and Marsa Alam — have been very popular. This gives us reason to hope that the planes flying to Marsa Alam will also be well-filled during the winter months and that the travel agency’s customers will take advantage of the connection to Egypt, where the sun is always shining and you can enjoy swimming in warm waters. We can confidently announce that summer at our airport will now last all year round,” says Robert Makowski, President of Łódź Airport.
Marsa Alam is a resort located 300 km south of Hurghada. It is an ideal destination for relaxing on the beach or by the pool, as well as for snorkeling and scuba diving among coral reefs. During the winter months, air temperatures range from 20 to 25°C, while the temperature of the Red Sea can reach as high as 25°C.
The winter months are also a great time for sightseeing. For those who want to see the treasures of the ancient civilization of the pharaohs with their own eyes, trips to Luxor are organized. Visitors are sure to be impressed by the monumental Colossi of Memnon, the temples of Karnak and Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. While staying in Marsa Alam, it is also worth going on a desert safari, including a camel ride and the chance to admire the sunset.

Please note: when traveling to Egypt, you must have a passport valid for at least six months from the date of your planned return (!). Upon arrival at the airport, you must purchase an entry visa, which costs USD 30 (cash payment only).
