Six weekly flights to Milan Bergamo and nine weekly flights to London Stansted — the summer flight schedule from Łódź Airport practically invites you to take a city break or a May weekend getaway.
Starting Sunday, March 29, the summer flight schedule comes into effect. Some routes will have changes in operating days, times, and frequencies. The variety of connections and flight schedules makes it possible to travel even for a short trip without needing to take time off work.
During the summer season, there is greater interest in flights to Italy. From April, Ryanair will double the number of rotations between Łódź and Milan Bergamo. Currently, there are three flights per week, but in the summer schedule, planes will operate daily except Saturdays. The city of Bergamo is a great base for tourists who want to explore the Lombardy region. A weekend trip to Bergamo and Milan is enough to see the highlights: stroll through Bergamo’s medieval streets, take a ride up to San Vigilio hill and admire the panorama of the city against the Alps. On the second day, you can take a train from Bergamo to Milan (the journey takes 40 minutes) to visit the magnificent cathedral, walk on its rooftop, explore the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, visit Sforza Castle, and relax in Parco Sempione, where the Arco della Pace is located.
If you’ve already visited these two cities, you can head to Lake Como, Lake Garda, or take a train to the romantic Verona.
For those who prefer Spain, in the summer season you can fly twice a week to Malaga (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and three times a week to Alicante (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays). In Spain, Holy Week celebrations begin next week on Palm Sunday. During this time, processions take place daily, organized by local communities. Participants wear pointed hoods with eye openings, and parish members carry large platforms depicting biblical scenes. Watching such a procession, especially in the evening by candlelight and torches, is an unforgettable experience.
Flights to London Stansted Airport remain the most popular route from Łódź Airport. The summer schedule includes nine weekly rotations (with two flights on Fridays and Saturdays). The timetable is perfect for weekend trips and exploring London. The city offers countless attractions — you can follow royal routes, visit locations from Harry Potter or films like Notting Hill and Bridget Jones. It’s also worth visiting world-class museums such as the British Museum and the Science Museum.
The number of flights to Dublin, Birmingham, and Brussels South Charleroi Airport will remain unchanged — two flights per week to each destination. However, the days of operation will change. Flights to Dublin and Birmingham will operate on Mondays and Thursdays, while flights to Brussels Charleroi will run on Thursdays and Sundays. These are convenient options for short backpacking trips.
On April 25, the summer charter season begins at Łódź Airport. This year, you can fly to Tirana, Burgas, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Crete, Rhodes, Zakynthos, Mallorca, Enfidha, Monastir, and Antalya.
